David Anwar, D.O., earned his medical degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Following his residency training, he completed a fellowship in cardiology and an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology from Deborah Heart and Lung Institute in Brown Mills, New Jersey. Besides practicing internal medicine and cardiology, he served as a hospitalist at Chilton Hospital, Pomptain Plains, New Jersey. Board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear medicine, Dr. Anwar is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Society of Echocardiography.
