Anesthesia Services (Inpatient)

West Florida Anesthesia Services has provided a full range of quality anesthesia services to the Pensacola community and surrounding area of Northwestern Florida for nearly 30 years.

Anesthesia services are delivered utilizing the Anesthesia Care Team approach in which an Anesthesiologist and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) collaborate to ensure safe and appropriate anesthesia care for each of our patients. The Anesthesiologists are medical doctors who are Board Certified in the specialty of Anesthesia. As such, they create the unique anesthesia medical plan for your surgery, monitor the plan and remain available to assist and lead in the very rare instance that emergencies occur.

Under the supervision of the Anesthesiologists, the CRNAs take care of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures or during labor and delivery. CRNAs stay with their patients for the entire procedure, constantly monitoring every important body function and individually modifying the anesthetic to ensure maximum safety and comfort.

Our services are hospital in-patient services only. We do not have out-patient appointments.

Our providers deliver a full range of anesthesia services for our patients including general, regional, cardiac and obstetrical anesthesia.
